Broadway alums Bill Heck (Cabaret), Dagmara Dominczyk (Golden Boy) and Ann Dowd (The Seagull) have been tapped for Night is a Room off-Broadway. The previously announced world premiere from Naomi Wallace will be directed by Bill Rauch and begin previews on November 3. The limited engagement is scheduled to play through December 13, with opening night set for November 22 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.
Liana (Dominczyk) and Marcus (Heck) have a marriage others envy. Doré (Dowd) has grown accustomed to an isolated existence in her modest flat. After a surprise reunion on Marcus’s 40th birthday, their worlds are shattered by an unexpected turn of events.
The production will feature scenic design by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by Jen Schriever and sound design by Leah Gelpe.
